Privacy notice
This notice covers the website MTD Practice Desk, a trading activity of UBL HOLDINGS LTD, registered office Henge Barn, Pury Hill Business Park, Towcester, NN12 7LS.
What we collect
- Newsletter: work email and signup timestamp, with consent, processed by Buttondown on our behalf when you submit the signup form.
- Server / analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies, uses no local storage and does not build a profile of you across sites, so no cookie banner is needed. Links to QuarterClose carry campaign tags (utm parameters) that identify this site as the referrer, not you.
- Checklist purchases: if you buy a checklist, Payhip handles the order and download, and Square processes the card payment. Each acts as an independent controller of the data it collects (such as your name, email address and payment details); see the Payhip privacy policy and the Square privacy notice. We receive your order details from Payhip so we can fulfil the order, keep accounting records and deal with any refund. We never see your full card number.
- We do not sell personal data.
Lawful basis
- Consent for newsletter signup (PECR / UK GDPR).
- Contract and legal obligation for checklist orders, including keeping accounting records.
- Legitimate interests for securing the site and understanding aggregate traffic.
Retention & rights
- Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or we shut the list down.
- You can request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data.
- You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
